Opus di Jazz, Sonata for Flute and Piano

Mike Mower: Opus di jazz (Obra de jazz), sonata para flauta y piano.

Written in 1997 as a "sequel" to Sonata Latino, Opus di Jazz is a major new sonata for flute and piano. A three movement work of 15 minutes length, it was recently performed by James Galway and Phillip Moll on a US reciatal tour. It has been highly acclaimed as an approachable, entertaining and above all playable work which is guaranteed to liven up any concert or recital.
