Fiddle Magic: 180 Technical Exercises for the Violin

These short studies emphasize a left hand position which constantly utilizes the often neglected fourth finger. Many of the exercises presented here are designed to strengthen this finger not only in first position but in third position as well.

The studies are divided into fifteen groups of twelve exercices each, and should be assigned one or two at a time until the complete group is covered. The entire group should then be dropped and the first exercises in the following group assigned.
