Tirana, for wind band, score and parts

Commissioned by the Minnesota Chapter of the College Band Directors National Association, this piece is a captivating series of lively dances, introduced and interrupted by short fanfares to create bursts of sound throughout. The complex meter patterns and exotic scales give the work a Southeast-European flavor that is a delight to perform.
