The Fruit of Silence, for mixed choir and piano, Choral score

Mother Teresa often surprised her interlocutors by offering a short poetic text in place of a visiting card. In 2013, P?teris Vasks set one of these prayers for peace to music. The text reflects on silence and prayer, moving through themes of faith and love, before concluding with the words, ?and the fruit of service is peace.?
