Grouped together for the first time, here are all his pieces for solo guitar published by Max Eschig: arrangements or adaptations of the traditional Cuban repertory; concert pieces in the Latin-American nationalist vein combining techniques from European modernism with melodico-rythmic folk elements; avant-garde works exploring the tone-colour of the instrument in open forms; teaching albums such as the famous "Estudios sencillos", essential works in the training of today's young guitarists.
