Mouvement symphonique, for wind band, Set of parts

Using thematic-motif material and Baroque concerto structures, Stephan Adam has created a contemporary work with new sounds without being avant-garde. The work is demanding, particularly as regards technique and rhythmic complexity. This work was commissioned by the Bundesvereinigung Deutscher Blasmusikverbände [Federation of German Wind Music Organisations] and has been a set piece in competitions at the most advanced level.
