Impulse, for vibraphone and piano

A demanding piece of contemporary percussion litterature. All three movements are jazz oriented in harmony and rhythm. In the first movement, the instruments chase each other through the octaves, the second slow movement grants a lyrical rest, and the third movement impresses with its high activity. Due to its virtuosity and its dramatic character, the piece is suited perfectly as a concert or an examination piece for percussionists.
