From my Diary, 24 Miniatures, for piano

For centuries, people have written diaries, confiding in them how much money they had spent on cigarettes or how delightful the walk the previous evening had been. Composers write music in their diaries. Not every day, but now and then. In the miniatures 'Aus meinem Tagebuch' [From my diary], a title already used by Max Reger, the composer Hermann Regner compressed thoughts and emotions into brief concise forms. They are records of moods and incidents.
