Fanfares, for soprano saxophone and piano

At less than seven minutes in length, this technically challenging work makes effective use of the soprano sax's powerful and expressive nature whilst successfully balancing both energetic and exuberant material. Divided into two main sections, the first allows both instrumentalists to display elements of virtuosity and agility while the second explores the instruments more lyrical qualities. A fine addition to the soprano sax repertoire.
