Duelo en vela, for piano

Chapela's first composition for the piano has very personal features: a lament for a great personal loss, again and again shaken by sudden outbreaks. The piece of almost three minutes' duration is dedicated to his composition teacher who helped him to put his grief into his own musical language and draw it out of the piano.
