The mallet duets were composed for beginners and advanced students alike who like to play non-classical music together. Most of the duets are written in swing style. Wolfgang Sonntag has been first percussionist of the Philharmonische Staatsorchester in Bremen (Germany) since 1975, but his experience extends to Big Bands, too. Since 1974, he has also worked at music schools as a percussion and clarinet teacher.
