Fundamental Studies for Mallets

A unique beginning book which integrates reading, technique, and memorization of familiar tunes in a surefire approach to learning. All basic keys are used, and the student is prepared completely for ensemble performance.

CONTENIDO:

- Section I: Preliminary Studies
Each of seventeen pages consists of technique, reading, and memorization. The simultaneous study of these elements will quicklv develop the student's keyboard facility.

- Section II: Reading Studies
A collection of works by well-known composers, arranged for mallet instruments.

- Section III: Technical Studies
A series of exercises which include major scales, major chords, minor scales, minor chords, and chromatic ties. These exercises may be used in conjunction with Section I or Section II.
