Early Start on the Viola, vol. 1: a viola method for children age four and older

For more than three decades The Sassmannshaus Tradition has been one of the leading violin methods for children in German-speaking countries. In fact, more than half a million players have successfully learned to play the violin using this method.

The Sassmannhaus Tradition in now available in English and has been adapted, both in content and songs, for today's English speaking children.

What makes this violin method so unique?

-Note reading is emphasized from the first lesson, encouraging ensemble playing from the very beginning.
