Cab Calloway (1907-1994) fue cantante, director de orquesta, bailarín, un artista y animador que marcó la historia del jazz: el Cotton Club con su coro de chicas, la epopeya de las big bands y su declive, Broadway, su renacer en la década de los 7 0 con The Blues brothers... Un artista y empresario del jazz en toda regla del que aquí recogemos una brillante selección musical de sus décadas doradas (1930-1953).
